Sea of Thieves 2 acc?

If you bought the XBOX Game Pass, you can download games like Sea of Thieves for free on your PC. Can you then play with a friend so that one plays on PC and the other on XBOX or do you have the same account on PC and XBOX?

SOT has crossplay. However, you need 2 different accounts. Possibly. This works via share on the Xbox, without Party 2 having to buy the game or subscribe to the GP.

I already know about the crossplay 🙂 but I don't know if he will have a new account on the PC that he can play with.

On the PC he then needs another account with a GP subscription. It might have worked on the Xbox if he logs in with your Acc & then shared the game with his Acc.
