Is my power supply enough pure power10cm 600w for the RTX 3080
i have an i5 10600k processor
5 case fans
Usb: mouse, keyboard, astro a 50 headset and 2 led light strips and occasionally an xbox controller
2x 16GB Ram
1hdd hard disk 1SSD hard disk 1NVME hard disk
and as a processor cooler the Darkrock pro 3

If you don't overclock, that's enough. Should you plan to overclock until you get quickly above 600 watts.
Okay, thank you very much 😊 I don't think there will be any need for overclocking in the near future, so I can relax and wait for a good offer at Cybermonday or something
A 10600K on a B460 board? Well…
It's questionable whether an RTX 3080 makes sense if you don't play at least on 4K UHD, but let's wait for the right tests.
NVIDIA calculates a TDP of 320 watts for the 3080, which can also be used for power consumption.
That leaves 280 watts for the rest of the PC.
That should be enough, but it's tight.
As I said, wait and see if the RTX 3070 is not enough for you.
Those 600W are likely to get a little tight.
The RTX 3070 should have a TDP of less than approx. 215W. (=> RTX 2070s: 215W).
This gives me an estimated total requirement of almost 500W (with oc: approx. 560W).

According to this, 650-750W would be a worthwhile achievement for a high-quality branded power supply (gold 80+).

So I play on qhd 144fps and I want to achieve with the 3080 that I just have my rest for 5 years as it was now with my 1080ti
then I can use my power supply unit until I can get a good deal at Cybermonday, for example?
Since you can't do an OC anyway, that should be enough. Even if you have two roasting ovens in there (Intel 10600k (in the PL2 over 180W) + RTX 3080)).
So I don't have to worry? Also have 2 monitors if that makes a difference
As I said, we first wait for real tests that appear beforehand, and then we can judge them.
At the moment, this is all just speculation with NVIDIA's previously given values.
Correction:
Somehow I had read "RTX 3070"…
The RTX 3080 has a TDP of 320W. So about 100W more than the RTX 2070s…
https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-rtx-3080.c3621
So your 600W will never be enough! It goes straight to the limit and sometimes even in the safety area.
That would be absolutely not a good idea!
I think you should install a power supply with at least 750W if you want to stay on the safe side and not risk a cable fire.

Or maybe an RTX 3070 (8GB) would be a good choice. This should be at least as strong as an RTX 2080ti (8GB) …
No, it's jacket like pants
The power supply is sufficient, albeit scarce. Overclocking is not possible due to the mainboard, so you don't have to take anything into account as a safety margin.
In theory, I could buy the same power supply as a 750watt version and then only have to replace the power supply because of cable management. I'll save the re-laying, right? Are the cables designed for a certain number of watts?
The cables are not designed for specific watts
