Which driver do I have to update if the XBox controller can no longer be connected to the PC (Windows 10)?
USB driver
Are you trying it by cable or bluetooth?
Just see if there's a normal windows update.
USB is the connection where it comes in.
Windows updates should of course be up to date. Then there's this Microsoft / Xbox app that should also remain current.
Bluetooth, and actually everything is up-to-date, so I'm surprised that it doesn't work
I actually thought so, but all USB drivers were already up to date. Then it must be something else.
I also thought it is up to date. Must be something else
Yes, apparently everything is up to date. Then I don't understand why it doesn't work.
Then the controller stops. Has another one to test?
Unfortunately, no. The "light" on the controller comes on and flickers as it does when the controller is on but can't connect.
Have you ever run over Bluetooth? I read with others that this caused problems.
You could try a system restore now. Or uninstall the USB drivers via the device manager. And then reinstall. Driver Booster is a good example. You can simply uninstall it afterwards.
Yeah well if you run it over bluetooth another story. Take a cable. It works better.
Yes I try
Take another USB port!
Then try it with cable
You tell me you connect the part via bluetooth but you check the usb drivers? Are you stupid or something?
The guy connects via bluetooth, but pretends to do it via usb…
First of all, thanks for the insult. And as already mentioned, I have already tried it with cable AND Bluetooth.
I tried both, but neither works
