GTA Online FA between Xbox and PS4?

I have GTA Online on Xbox 360 and my friend wanted to play with me. He is playing on a Playstation 4 and I ahbe trying to send him a friend request via the social club, which then worked and he successfully accepted it. Then I wanted to play with him and he was not shown in my friends list in GTA Online.

Unfortunately this is impossible because there's no crossplay.

It wouldn't even work with an Xbox one.

You need the same console.
