I recently got an Xbox one x…
Question is above
It is downward compatible but not upward compatible, how should that work?
You can't conjure up a lack of power
But I heard that xbox series x games also run on the xbox one x if they are Microsoft titles?
No wherever you heard that from Microsoft you didn't…
With 12 teraflops, the Xbox Series X has twice the computing power of the Xbox One x, a game for the new console would be a slideshow on the old one
And above all if it is Forza this is the showcase series of the Xbox where you want to show what the console can do

I read it here…
That will certainly not be the case… That would include that the games on the original Xbox One also had to run (a device that was just criticized because of its often enough power for 720p)
And games that use the hardware properly would not be possible as with Ps4 Pro and Xbox One X.
Incidentally, the production of Xbox One X was discontinued
Too bad thank you for the answer
I think they announced something at the last Xbox event… I don't know if it applies to all games or just some. But I also have that in mind that they want the generations to merge. Sony should not go this route.
It is best to wait until the game is within reach and then MS will announce it.
So I wouldn't give up hope entirely.
