I use it for the PC, especially for e.g. The Outer Worlds, what you could play "free" right after the release, was worth it.
It's a great thing. There are very, very many games for free - and also modern games and free exclusive titles from release.
There's no comparable offer.
Now connect ala Stadia with a technically clean Everytime / Everywhere stream and the thing is perfect.
I do not use it because I always return to the games and would like to be able to call them up at any time.
I use it because in addition to the game subscription, it also includes gold membership at a fair price.
The range of games is large enough and varied. Always coming, also current titles and the Microsoft Exclusives even remain permanently available to me.

The games are available long enough to play through them and if you only join shortly before it disappears you will be informed about the app in good time and you will also get a discount to buy it permanently. I still buy games next to the gamepass.
That with your huge gold supply is probably an absolute exception. I have a monthly debit and can also cancel at any time. So I have the choice whether none of it, gold, normal gamepass or ultimate.
Yes, only one difference is. In the "Games for Gold" games, where you have 4 games per month… They stay in your games library as long as you have gold. Even if they disappear from the GOLD Games Benefits after a month, they stay in the library of you or me and you can continue playing them. You can only play them if you are no longer a gold member.

If Microsoft takes Forza Horizon 4 from the Ultimate Game Pass, then from that point on - even if it's installed locally - I won't be able to play the game anymore. And then it doesn't matter whether I'm still the ultimate member or not.

I'm super happy with the game pass ultimate. You always have enough games to choose from, wot now has something like member rewards etc. In addition, the game pass includes ultimate gold. Therefore, I find the price-performance ratio completely okay
