The Xbox has Gamepass, but Playstation has the Ps plus collection and Ps now. Nevertheless, Gamepass is better, but I can also get Gamepass on my mobile phone or PC.
Despite the 12,155 teraflops of the XboxSeriesX, the Ps5 has the better gaming performance, tested by Digital Foundry and therefore all talk of the most powerful console in the world because of 12,155tf was just nonsense.
-Digital Foundry, Jason Schreier, and another guy.
The Ps5 controller is a true next gen controller while Microsoft uses the same boring Xbox one controller for the XboxSeriesX with a stolen share button.
-Skill up, Jason Schreier, Digital foundry, everyone except xbots and people who never had it in their hands.
My Ps5 is very, very quiet, but the XboxSeriesX is a little quieter and I can tell that because I heard them both playing the same game. The Xsx is getting warmer (Internet).
The Ps5 has more launch titles.
Demon's souls, Spiderman mm, Sackboy, Godfall, bugsnax.
The XboxSeriesX only gets Falconeer.
Which console should you buy? Please give reasons.
Phew, difficult situation. Before the release I would have said: PS5.
But some things went wrong. The PS5 is probably running hotter than it could, but that doesn't cause any problems at all. Then there are unfortunate buyers whose PS5s are plagued by coil whine or eerie loud fans. But that's probably the exception.
But what bothers me a lot is that the M.2 slot is currently locked on the PS5 and afterwards you can probably only install a very expensive PCIe 4.0 SSD, although a PCIe 3.0 SSD does not represent any significant deterioration in real life (IMHO).
The XsX, on the other hand, is quieter, significantly smaller, completely backwards compatible (instead of only with the PS4 like the PS5) and it is more powerful than the PS5 (Digital Foundry, well… I won't say anything).
My current assessment: If you have a good gaming PC, you either don't need the consoles or if you do, the PS5 because of exclusive titles. If you don't have a console, you should seriously think about the XsX.
I've heard of the coil whine cases too, but my Ps5 is really extremely cool and quiet.
Seriously, I like to hear that. I was affected myself with a graphics card in the PC, not nice.
I actually want to get a PS5 too, mainly to play PS4 games, as I haven't bought a Playstation since the PS2. I have now bought a used PS3, I really enjoy it.
Unfortunately you don't get a PS5, or XsX or XsS… Everything is sold out: /
Sony confirmed on Twitter that there will be a third wave.
Oh, third wave or not, there are people from wave 1 who are still waiting for their console. Should they be served first.
And the second wave was practically none, it was sold out in 10 minutes.
But thanks for the link, hope for the best.
Yo
Xbox Series X and / or PS5
Which console should you buy?
The ones whose overall package appeals to you the most and that is very subjective.
And your argument lags at some points:
The issue of performance has long been clarified. This was due to the delivered XBox developer kits and not to the performance of the console. The publishers / developers have already announced patches to fix this.
I like the controller of the PS5 a lot, but I'm afraid that (again) only the exclusive games really use the features. For example, when was the touchpad really used on the Dual Shock 4? For the most part, I could only use it as a large button at most.
Boring XBox controller? The XBox One controller is absolutely top and not for nothing the most used controller on the PC. MS only tweaked the little things with the Series X / S controller and they did it really well: even better grip, design improvements for the triggers and bumpers to switch between faster and, above all, an even lower latency, which certainly some E-athletes will appreciate in the future.
Stolen share button? The gaming industry is constantly influencing each other. If that weren't the case, you wouldn't be able to activate your Playstation using a button on the wireless controller (the XBox 360 had before the PS3), there wouldn't be any trophies ("successes" were first introduced on the XBox 360), there wouldn't be any Position sensor / Sixaxis (comes from a Microsoft Sidewinder PC controller), no Force Feedback / Rumble (came as a Rumble Pack for the N64) and no analog sticks (also Nintendo 64).
Heat: Both consoles get very hot internally. If the heat outside can be easily measured as a stream of hot air, then that's a good sign, because you don't want the heat IN the console either!
PS5 has more launch titles: Correct!
Factors for purchase recommendation: game taste, view of the future, controller preference, online service, hardware performance, circle of friends, ecosystem, etc.
I'm an Xbox fanatic.
Ok😂
I agree
