In terms of performance from the consoles, I think xBox is the best, but in terms of the system, it is clearly the Playstation. It is always a difficult decision for me to decide which of the two it should be.
But I also play on PC. I can only recommend it, and owning a console is relatively chilled.
Definitely a PC because you always have the option to upgrade, better frame rate, better graphics, of course you pay more for a PC but you have more of it accordingly
And the most important MODS! Can't imagine gaming without mods anymore
And even if you are not used to gaming with a mouse, there's enough software with which you can play any game with a controller.
1) I don't have to invest any additional money to play online.
2) I can install mods.
3) I can also use the PC for other things, e.g. Write applications, surf etc.

I have a PC and PS4 and I have to say that the decision was not easy for me. But it is so that the PC itself is more expensive, but the games are simply much cheaper. In addition, there are just a lot more games on the PC. And there are mods. The only thing that really bothers me on the PC is that you have to deal with it more with consoles and you need more previous knowledge. So e.g. If the console has somewhat poorer graphics, there are fewer errors on consoles than on PC.
So someone who only plays 1-2 hours a day and has many other hobbies, I recommend a PS4 but if you gamble a lot and have almost no other hobbies, PC is better for you.

Already had consoles and now a PC. It's great that I can do anything with it. Gambling, surfing etc.
But if someone just wants to play on the TV, a PC is less suitable.
That means you can't say that a PC is always better.
When it comes to consoles, I would probably go for the Xbox. Back then had an Xbox360, then a PS4. Besides great, I had more fun on the Xbox, but was probably due to my age.
Mods can be a curse and a blessing.
GTA Online is unplayable on the PC due to modders. I'm seriously considering getting a PS5 only for GTA VI because I just can't stand it on the PC anymore. And that as a really convinced PC gamer.
