The question above would be of interest to me, why others switch.
I'm now speaking from experience.
I have an Xbox One X with me and I think Playstation is better.
Why?
I was thrilled with forza, Halo, Aaa titles to begin with, as they ran at 6 teraflops while my best friend owns a Ps4 pro. He kept telling me that incredible games come from Playstation while Xbox doesn't get any special titles. I defended my console and we agreed to swap the consoles for a week.
He wasn't enthusiastic about my Xbox one x and neither was the games.
I found everything about the Playstation 4 awesome. I thought the design of the console itself was pretty, the menu with the cool background tone. The menu was also very smooth and you could find the games really quickly. So it was very well organized. Everything was much higher quality.
With the aaa title Gta 5 I didn't notice any difference, so it was the same. I thought you would see the differences correctly, but no, not at all, it did.
When I played an exclusive 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯. I've never seen such a great game honestly. The Ps4 Pro only has 4.2 teraflops and my Xbox one x 6, why do the games look so much better?
I have no idea about technology, but Playstation is really awesome.
You could take screenshots directly, record videos. I also thought that the pad was cool.
I've had an Xbox all my life, but I will definitely switch to the Ps5. The graphics of the games blew me away.
I still played Uncharted as well as The Last of us der hammer.
Driveclub (how can a game look so cool)
Avatar Korra (I used to watch Nickelodeon, great game)
Folks, I'm really speaking from experience, test the Ps4 or 5 for a week, no idea, when you come from the Xbox, really great experience.
And I found the controller really pretty with the changing colors. In Gta, the controller's color changes continuously from blue to red when the police are after you.
Everything just went smoothly. I'm just excited.
Conclusion: You should definitely not buy a console because of the teraflops. I think games on the Ps4 look better. I don't want to go back anymore.
I still played detroit become human, also really cool.
I'm also switching because I don't like Bethesda games.
In principle, I do not "switch" because I have always owned both consoles of the respective console. This time I will probably not get another Xbox.
I just don't see any point in it anymore. I can play almost anything that interests me on the PC.
But apart from that, I would give Sony the preference because of the range of games that Microsoft still can't compete with. In addition to Bethesda, they would have to buy a few more studios. 😄
In terms of performance, the consoles are almost identical anyway, so there will be no differences (as in the previous generation, where the consoles were much further apart).
That's always the way it is.
It is not just a question of hardware but also of software.
No matter how good the hardware is, if the software is too bad, good hardware is of no use.
There you can for example. Compare IPhones with Android phones.
a few years ago a few Android phones had 6 resp. 8 GB of RAM while iPhones had 3-4 GB.
Still, both worked. And nobody complained because the "performance" was too bad.
As far as the range of games is concerned, Sony is simply top 👍
I switched to the PC. You can actually play anything there. I can also play Forza Horizon 4 there thanks to GamePass. Of course, the PC has a lot more to offer graphically, but I was satisfied enough on the Xbox and PlayStation. Always get me both consoles at times anyway. But the PlayStation always had better offers in my opinion. On the PC, however, games are sometimes even cheaper to get than for consoles. You can just do more on the PC. Mods, for example.
But if I decide to use consoles, I mean the PlayStation first. Alone when it comes to exclusive titles. The XboxOne didn't offer me that much interesting. What remains undefeated with the Xbox, however, is the controller. I can handle it much better ^^
To change degrees now would be very stupid the new Xbox will be the stronger of the 2 (actually 3 new)
Funny that you speak of good graphics and mention Drive Club, there's probably no game on the Ps4 that had escaped me and that in many ways, it should be a kind of new Granturismo which actually came out after the many shifts was a terrible game what with nothing at all could not even with the graphics, the Forza 5, which is almost 1 year old at this point, has the bottom with Drive Club
The terraflops alone don't say anything, I agree with you that the Xbox Series S will beat the Xbox One X thanks to more modern, faster architecture
Incidentally, the Xbox One X also had a problem which the Ps4 Pro had but there were no games that were explicitly only for this console but only optimized games which all had to run on the weaker platform
I myself switch to the Xbox Series S from Ps4 Pro because the Ps5 and the Xbox Series X practical table were not available and I don't throw my money down my throat with eBay scalpers, I still have a Full HD TV that is only 4 years old Furthermore, a new TV 4K and 32 inches would have to have what is not available
Interesting your opinion. I think it's cool that there are female gamers too.
I also have a One X and also a PS4 pro but can't really share your opinion.
First of all, I will not change my lead platform, the One X and soon the Series X, but I might buy a PS5 later.
Now to your rather subjective opinion in detail.
I don't care about the terra flops that you consider so important. The games and how they look and work on my 55 inch 4k, HDR, Qled are more important. And that's where the One X is better. Sure, the PS Super Exclusives has but the majority of the titles that not only me but all gamers play are multi-platform. They not only look better on the One X but also run better. In addition, it is barely audible during operation, whereas the Pro is equivalent to a jet jet and can hardly be used without headphones.
I thought the design of the console itself was pretty, the menu with the cool background tone. The menu was also very smooth and you could find the games really quickly. So it was very well organized. Everything was much higher quality.
One can certainly argue about taste, but both are just two black boxes without any noteworthy details. Both of them look equally boring to me. I switched off the background sound of the menu on the PS. No user interface in the world needs something like that and I only spend a short time in the menu at a game console anyway. With the liquid I agree with you. No matter which update you take with the One, everything always looks a bit unstable. But everything is organized on the Xbox and I find my games rather cumbersome on the PS. You can pin to the box, get the last ones displayed anyway, as well as on the PS and have immediate access via my games and apps. In my opinion, it doesn't take anything but a question of getting used to it and personal taste. This also applies to your impression of the high quality. You could also say more boring.
With the aaa title Gta 5 I didn't notice any difference, so it was the same. I thought you would see the differences correctly, but no, not at all, it did.
Taking a game that originally appeared on the 360 and PS3 as a reference is nonsense. Although I only played it on 360 and One X and therefore don't know the PS version. Check out the latest games like RDR, Battlefield V, Cod Modern Warfare or Assassin's Creed Odyssey. With a good TV, the differences are clearly visible and noticeable.
When I played an exclusive 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯. I've never seen such a great game honestly. The Ps4 Pro only has 4.2 teraflops and my Xbox one x 6, why do the games look so much better?
Which one? Most recently I ran The Last of Us 2 and yes that looks great. Likewise Uncharted or God of War. But a Gears 5, Forza Motorsport / Horizon is in no way inferior. With the difference that they run better and smoother. So no the games don't look much better. Only the quality and quantity of the exclusives at Sony are just higher and make a direct comparison more difficult. See above for third-party games. The One X is simply better there. Not only subjectively but also in real terms. Play Control on the PS and for comparison on the One X. There are worlds in between.
You could take screenshots directly, record videos. I also thought that the pad was cool.
OK, on the PS I need a button on the Xbox two. Is that so much better, especially since the share button is also part of the Xbox pad in the next generation? I don't make as much use of it on either system as that this argument is decisive. I prefer to keep silent about the unnecessary TouchPad and the integrated loudspeaker on the PS4 Pad. Certainly well thought out, but neither is a real immersive and playful added value for me. Unnecessary bells and whistles.
Driveclub (how can a game look so cool)
I'm sorry, but both Forza series look better on the One X and run at 60 FPS. I don't know what you want to see.
Folks, I'm really speaking from experience, test the Ps4 or 5 for a week, no idea, when you come from the Xbox, really great experience.
Yes, I do too and come to a different conclusion. The One X is my lead platform on which I play almost everything because it just looks and runs better. The PS4 pro is only for exclusive use as a gamer
I haven't read through the whole novel, but I have to say that I found the Ps4 really better as a whole.
I found the games with the many features better, exclusive titles looked better and the Ps4 ran very quietly on me.
I'm still switching to the Ps5 because I like the atmosphere better there and because my friends will get to the Ps5.
As I said, I didn't see any difference with AAA titles. Rdr2 was there too.
Playstation is my new home.
