Xbox one wireless adapter also for Xbox Series X controllers?

I have considered buying an adapter so that I don't always have to connect my Xbox controller to the PC with a USB cable, but I only find adapters on the Internet that say "Xbox One" but my wireless controller is from the next generation " Xbox Series X "the adapters also work for my controller, does anyone have experience?
