Email from Xbox; was or fake?

Here is the email I received from the email address xbox@engage.xbox.com.

Is this email credible or is it a rip off? In any case, the email address looks very credible, the content makes me really puzzled.

The only thing left there's that the group search is activated as soon as the party is activated and that you can now download 50 free to play games regardless of whether you were previously registered with Xbox Live Gold (wasn't / I'm not)

Finally, there's a link to the details of the changes.

Is that so correct?

This is not a fake email.

Starting April 21st, Xbox Live Gold will no longer be required for Free To Play games.

You can tap the link without any problems.

I got exactly the same email:-).

Here you can reread the whole thing:

Oha… I wouldn't have thought that.

Ke

No problem:-).

Why wouldn't you have thought that?

Gr

Usually I find something dubious… A feature that you had to pay for for a long time now to be offered free of charge at once… Could also be a lure where you can download viruses or other stuff by opening links.

Ke

However, this has been announced for weeks.
isn't it a good thing that it's free now? For example, there's no longer a real reason for the Playstation

Co

Well, it wouldn't be as if this would remove any reason for a Playstation from the world…

Ke

Well What other reasons are there?

Co

The controller and, depending on your taste, the exclusives.

Ke

The controller?

Forgot that Microsoft has by far the best controllers on the market? Especially with the Elite series.

Exclusive titles are not a reason, especially because some of them will even be streamed on Xbox in the future
