Pay Xbox game PASS ultimate?

I have the following problem: I want to pay for my (overdue) Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. I redeemed a code but it doesn't withdraw. Instead I should change my payment method! What the hell can someone help me there

You shouldn't change the payment method they just want an account or something similar. Additionally. With vouchers, it is not unusual that the ne secondary source of money that you can access when the value of the voucher is exceeded.

As long as you always redeem vouchers on time, the account should not be debited.
