Dear community,
I assembled a PC a while ago and upgraded it from time to time.
The performance and functionality is top and for me absolutely sufficient, for videos, office and other work on the PC.
But would like to have a little more gaming performance. (I'm a casual player, not a high-end gambler, but would like to be able to play games of the past 2 years smoothly, but does not have to run to full settings)
Motherboard gigabyte https://www.gigabyte.com/...DS3-rev-10
Processor: https://ark.intel.com/...z-fsb.html GHz)
8 GB RAM from Corsair (2x4GB)
Enermax 400W power supply
Graphics card https://de.msi.com/Graphics-card/N560GTXTi_Twin_Frozr_II/Specification
Hard drive 256 GB Samsung SSD
I also bought a USB3 card and a WLAN card, plus a sound card
Do you think this card brings me noticeably more gaming performance?

Respectively. Which graphics card currently has a particularly good P / L ratio?
Sure, a new PC would be better, but I want to keep many of my previous components if I can. (Environmental thought)
Or would you recommend an upgrade kit (mainboard, processor, RAM) or individual components?
As I said, I'm not a hardcore gamer, I would be happy with a little more performance.
I have been itching to play again lately,
I have Skyrim (but I'm not really happy with it because it gets monotonous over time)
I would like to get the last Tomb Raider
I have Colin McRae Dirt2 (that's fine with my current setup, but it's also a bit older)
Portal 1 & 2 I have (is not a high end graphic game now)
Devil May Cry (My PC is reaching its limits with more graphic scenes)
do you have any game recommendations that go in this direction?
I look forward to your tips and answers!
PS. I mainly play on TV in 1080p with the XBox360 controller for Windows
Upgrade the CPU first, otherwise the card will not work because it will limit its performance.
Okay does that also mean new board? My board has a LGA775 socket
And new RAM.
Oh man, this is going to be expensive…
He will see some improvement. Not every game will use its processor like this.
But yes, the graphics card is a bit too good for the processor… Or rather the processor is too bad for the graphics card.
Upgrade the cpu to a ryzen 5 2600 + a b450 mainboard. Then 16 GB ram if possible… In addition, the graphics would then be about 400 euro if you are lucky… Please buy from mindfactory because it is a little cheaper
The improvement is hardly noticeable, when I wanted to upgrade from my 1050 Ti to the RX 590 with an FX 8350, I didn't notice anything either. It wasn't until I upgraded the rest. 🤓
Could I try the Graka? Then I would have lost nothing and maybe the performance is enough for me?
Or is there another graphic you can recommend to me? (Price - performance should be good)
I highly recommend the RX 590 with 8 GB vRAM. Sure, you can buy it, but you still have to upgrade the rest later to notice something.
Great, thanks for the tips! That is a clear recommendation.
Or maybe you had more demanding games than him. And its GTX 560 ti is really bad compared to your previous 1050 Ti.
Oh, just Arma 3, Star Citizen, … XD
Would you take the rx580 or rx590? Is there a big difference?
Is the boxed cooler okay?
Only upgrading the GPU is no longer worthwhile for the system, the CPU is 14 years old. But if you are upgrading the graphics card, CPU, motherboard and RAM, you should probably replace the age-old power supply and at best the case (if you want more than USB 2.0). And at that point you practically have a completely new PC. You can of course keep the SSD.
If you currently have no money for or do not feel like a new system, then just wait. But replacing individual components is no longer worthwhile.
Somehow you're right…
what is a good shop for a new PC, if possible with a PC configurator so that I can continue to use my SSD and possibly other components.
how much would I get for my PC when sold (with SSD)?
No is not big. Take a 580. The boxed cooler is enough
Thanks, what do you think i can get for my old pc? Now think about whether I should buy a PC from https://www.memorypc.de/. They have a very nice configurator
Well the prices there are actually n jokes. If you want I can configure a pc for you on mindfactory. They could also assemble that. Or you use the configurator on dubaro.de, which are still comparably cheap.
For your PC you might get 80 euro with SSD. Selling a used SSD is not worth it, I would just keep it.
If you want to assemble yourself, I would buy the parts from the cheapest dealer, which is usually Mindfactory. It is generally worth comparing prices on https://geizhals.de/...ls.de/?m=1.
If you tell me your budget, I can also suggest a configuration.
Thanks for the answer.
dubaro.de also looks pretty good, unfortunately I can't take the power supply out of the configuration there. I also don't think the prices are so outstanding.
I would like to continue using the case, power supply, drives, SSD
I need the mainboard, CPU, RAM and graphics card, please ask for specific suggestions
Assembling on my own is not a problem for me, as I have done this before.
Oh well, then just write me your budget for the stuff and I'll put something together for you
Budget is secondary to me. I want to be able to play the last Tomb Raider title smoothly. Respectively. Let's say it shouldn't exceed 400 euro.

here. It's almost not cheaper than sorry.
Many thanks!
Another consideration is to wait for the new XBox because I mainly gamble with the gamepad…
I would also recommend you more
Yes, you can also assume that the new Xbox will be unbeatable in terms of price-performance.
I also need a Blueray player, then I catch two birds in one fell swoop.
