Hi everyone yesterday my friend was with me and I told him he should start Halo 5 which I bought on CD. He did not know that Far Cry 5 was still in the drive and just started my games and apps Halo 5 and it worked. That's what I noticed today that I play a game that can only play with a CD without a CD can… I realized that it works on wolfenstein 2 but otherwise in none of my other games, does anyone have any idea why?
This only works with games that have been completely installed. Whether this is possible in a game or not, decides the publisher of the game.
That has always worked for all games.
DRM says no.
But that's the way I've always done so I have 20 games and 19 of them are on the hard drive and not on cd
So I can safely exclude that. Neither Assassin's Creed Odyssey nor Division 2 can be started without the disk.
