I would like to switch from ps4 soon. I have games like ark, skyrim and fallout, gta and minecraft and a few others in the library. I have Skyrim and Fallout on CD. I mainly want to play elder scrolls 6. However, I would also like to play games like Medieval Dynasty or Crusader Kings 3, i.e. Games for a gaming PC, but they are very expensive. On the Xbox there's more freedom regarding mods in skyrim. But my friends play on the PlayStation, but I rarely play with friends. In addition, if I should get an Xbox, I would have to buy a lot of new games, but there would probably be elder scrolls 6 inheritance certificates and other games with mod freedoms or something. Or should I keep saving on a gaming PC? However, I find it more complicated to play on PC, I prefer a console directly. But does medieval dynasty appear for the Xbox? I mainly play games from Bethesda or open world games and survival games like ark. But mostly I play skyrim and fallout…
What do you recommend? Better get a new Xbox at some point (where I would have to buy all the games new, but would probably have more freedom)? But ps5 (where I actually have a lot of games)? Or maybe a gaming PC?
I'm a PC gamer and I can only recommend this to everyone because of the many advantages that a computer brings:
Can be upgraded
Can be easily serviced in case of problems
Can simply be reinstalled in the event of more serious problems
Can be used for more than just gaming
Certainly there are also opposing points that I would like to hear. I don't have a console and I don't have one in my environment that has one.
I recommend a gaming PC or laptop.
First of all: Nice that you are a Bethesda fan.
You can also use the PC for a lot other than just gaming. If you have problems in the game, you can quickly google for the solution and don't have to get your cell phone (I personally can type faster with the keyboard on my PC / laptop than with a cell phone keyboard). Why do you find it more complicated? There are also controllers for Pc / laptop. Or do you mean because of the size of the screen?
You can also upgrade a PC and you don't have to buy a new model straight away as you would with consoles (most console games are also available for PC / laptop).
Many games are also better on the PC than on the console e.g. The mod support that is included in games like Fallout and the elder scrolls.
-The graphics are better on good gaming PCs than on consoles
-aiming is easier with the mouse
-Often there are steam sales that make the games on the PC cheaper
-Several providers of games (I find Steam best because of the Steam Sales that occur several times a year)
Right now you can tell about cyberpunk that consoles are not always ideal! Since ES6 will probably not be released in 2021, you can save a little longer! I swear by a good / expensive PC! Multifunctional and flexible! If a game is no longer running, a new graphics card (of course, can be more expensive than a console). Putting in more RAM is not difficult either! With consoles there's a single exclusion point and you can forget the box!
(And when I sometimes read that consoles only allow a certain number of saves… I can tell you, in Fallout 4 I probably have 1000 hand saves!)
First something like this: https://hardwarerat.de/...windows-10 is enough for everything you have listed, and then upgrade, if it starts to jerk, then it is not more expensive than console
