Difficult to say, I would decide on the exclusive titles, performance, etc. I don't care what that looks like. I'm a PC player anyway.
I honestly like the design of the Xbox Series X better. No idea what they took / smoked when designing the PS5, but the design is, in my opinion, quite strange. One can only hope that the cooling at least this time is good and above all quiet.
I strongly assume that Xbox will be locked again like usb devices such as. Headsets, external microphones etc. Come on if they don't have an optical output then I have no reason to buy anymore, I'm definitely not going to connect 250 ohm headphones to the jack on the controller. I don't like the controller as much as with Playstation and then couldn't connect my current PS4 Scuf to the xbox, which will be the case with ps5. The performance of the Xbox is also overrated. If both consoles run at 120 fps, support ray tracing and also 8K then the slightly higher clock rate of the Xbox does not matter if the ps5 really should have a faster memory.

I don't feel that with the design, it's even cooler than the Series X because it looks so unusual. But as far as cooling is concerned, I can only confirm. With the PS4 you are really forced to wear closed headphones instead of open ones because you hear nothing else than the fan of the PS4 hope they do it right on the PS5.
I don't think the design is bad at both, no idea what everyone always has. They could have the most normal design and people would still be disgusted with it.
