I'm currently playing Skyrim Special Edition on the xbox series s and I get into the room you come into when you use your blood to open a door (the door is a big face) In videos I've seen the esber, the old man, usually goes to a wall with engravings on it and starts talking about something. In my case, however, he goes to the wall and just stops without saying anything. He just keeps his mouth shut. Does anyone have any ideas how I can fix this error? Prevents me from continuing to play, belongs to the main quest.
You can try to glitch yourself through the wall, take n tray hold it in front of you and run against the wall ;-)
What about dolphins?
Servus had a similar bug during the mission on the PC.
Fast travel to the other side of the world map and back helped me. If you don't want that, you can only load a save before the Missi
Does not bring anything, because the quest will not be continued, because Esbern has to go into this temple
Well Esbern is in the temple. Just before the engraving. He just has to start talking
Stands between the stairs that are in the room
Thanks, I'll try it out
Yes I know what you mean. But he has to get behind this wall ;-)
I sometimes have a similar bug when I'm out with a follower, but only behind the door.
If I cut my hand and then walk through the door behind the face with Lydia, she somehow prevents dolphins from running and lighting these beacons (so that the sequence or what they call it doesn't start) Esbern just starts but the quest does not go any further.
Solution: As a precaution, switch off the autosave, reload the last game, slaughter the forsworn and tell your follower to wait there. It always works that way for me. If that doesn't work, load the penultimate game and do the same again.
I'll try it out, thank you.
Yeah, no thing do you let me know if something works?
I also had this mistake once. Before you enter this temple, you will fight with your companions, a horde of forsaken and a dragon. I was terribly bad at the time and wanted to escape the fight, the companions followed me, but Esbern didn't say anything, even Delphine just stood there and stared at a wall. I don't know why, but when I went out again and killed the enemy, it worked. I don't know if it's your fault, but well, maybe my answer will help.
It has nothing to do with the Forsworn, but I had exactly the same bug. It took me a while to figure out how to get rid of it. You have to go upstairs from the temple, by fast travel to another place (stop in any city) and then by fast travel back again. As soon as you enter the temple, the processes begin as they should.
I tried it, but unfortunately it didn't work. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion
Unfortunately it didn't work. Neither doing the mission all over again, nor fast travel.
Didn't work but thanks anyway!
Tried it too, didn't help. Unfortunately, there was no suggestion at all, I guess I can't continue playing it. It's a shame, actually, I liked it a lot. But thanks anyway for your suggestion
Then just ask google whether you can trigger the event with a cheat
Have you tried it more often?
