Was Switch Xbox Live Bannable?

Hey wanted to ask if you use Lag Switch regardless of the game and it comes out you will only be banned in the game or will you be banned from the whole Xbox Live network with the account?

So is it safer to use a Smurf or 2nd account?

Ideally, you will get a CID ban.

Correct. Just that your console is banned and you need a new one.
