HDMI 2.1 monitors prices?

Gaming monitors with HDMI 2.1 will soon come out for sure. How expensive do you think it gets? I don't know much about monitors but they should be suitable for the new consoles like Xbox or Ps5.

The price can't be determined on the basis of connections, as it is not really calculated on these. Rather in terms of size, panel, etc. Sure, this is of course suitable for the consoles.

Conclusion: You will have to look around yourself, then you can see how much a monitor that fits you would cost.

Certainly, it will certainly not take that long.

In the current time these will probably be very expensive, but there will probably also be Montiore with HDMI 2.1, which are stationed in the lower price segment, but these will probably save on many features. E.g. Nir 1080p with 60hz, no HDR and odee trimmed HDMI 2.1 features.

So just as a small note. The Playstation consoles are TV consoles, not Montior consoles or both.

The Xbox is more of a monitor console, especially since it also supports more features.

HDMI 2.1 only makes sense with the Xbox Series X and / or with a good computer. Especially since the Playstation 5 doesn't even support real HDMI 2.1, as this is limited to 32GB / s, while it is 42GB / s with the Series X, which makes a difference, especially in the HDR area. In addition, the Playstation 5 supports almost no HDMI 2.1 feature. No support for 8K, no support for ALLM & no support for VRR.

Hope I could help

Mot kind regards

I read that 4k at 120hz is only possible with HDMI 2.1. 8K that won't grab a Ps5 I think and VRR should apparently be added with an update. But it is not sure. A TV would be at least 40 inches and my room is extremely small. Therefore I would need a monitor and if the new ones are going to be very expensive I have to get either Fhd 120hz or 4k 60hz… Which one would you buy?

However, it is only possible to a limited extent from a purely technical point of view due to the weak graphics unit, which therefore does not help you at all.

It's just a shame that the Xbox has that from Day One and the Playstation users have to wait for it, that says it all.

You don't need HDMI 2.1 with the Playstation 5 or with the Xbox Series X, because there are also a few TVs / monitors with HDMI 2.0 that support most HDMI 2.1 features with the Xbox Series X.

I would recommend 1440p @ 120fps now, but that's not available on Playstation. Why? Oh yes. TV console. And 1440p is a monitor resolution.

1080p @ 120fps is what the Playstation 5 does to the max. So or just a mid-range 1080p graphics unit is installed

I also think it's a shame that the Ps5 doesn't have the same performance as an XsX, but since everyone in the circle of friends has a Ps, there isn't much that can be changed. The only thing I can hope for is an update for a 1440p resolution. I thank you for the information.

In yours or in general?

Why should you please choose a platform just because the Freundeskreis is playing on it? Nowadays that shouldn't matter at all!

Xbox players can play and talk to anyone!

Playstation only with itself: |

Unfortunately there will never be. That's what you're waiting for since the Ps4 Slim.
