Is the XBox 360 slim region-locked?
I was told by someone that the Xbox 360 slim has no region-lock (NTSC / PAL) more. But on the internet, I could not really find anything about it.
Therefore the question: Could I play an NTSC game from the USA (Import) on a German Xbox 360 slim?
You can even play import games on the old Phat without problems. So yes.

No. I play or have been able to play US NTSC titles like Army of Two and Condemned on my 360 Phat Elite without any problems.
Jain. As with the original Xbox, the region locking is on the disc and not on the console. Especially some of the games released shortly after release can be region locked. Others are not.
Take, for example, the game "All Pro Football 2k8". It's just been released in the US + Canada and on the packaging I've seen on Ebay is under the Xbox symbol "NTSC". Does it mean that it works on my Pal console? Or is it just 'good luck'?
