Unfortunately the headphone jack plug in my One Controller broke today. With a pair of pliers, unfortunately, it is no longer possible to get anything from the broken piece.
Can someone tell me how I can get this piece out of the controller?
To throw it away is too bad since it is still technically in order… Except for the socket.
Try a thin, pointed object. Push in on the side and pull out with feeling. It may loosen up a little and you can knock it out. (Careful)
Bend a thin, stable wire at the tip and heat it up. Press the hot wire into the plastic insulation of the connector. Wait briefly until everything is cold and solidified again and carefully pull out the tip of the plug on the wire.
