Mortal Kombat 11 tournament?

I have a problem. I wanted to play Mortal Combat 11 on my xBox one. However, I can't get any further in the tournament menu. I can only choose my character. Then it doesn't go any further. I can press whatever I want. I can only jump back with Y. All other buttons do not respond. Does anyone have an idea?

What you first do with such errors is a new installation. Just uninstall the game and then reinstall it
