And again the answer is the same as for all "worthwhile…" questions: If this results in a personal advantage for you that outweighs the costs, then yes, otherwise not.
If you already have a PC or any other console: no, even if it is just a pocket calculator rather not but otherwise yes then it is good
Whether it is worthwhile of course always depends on the circumstances.
Do you have a 4K TV / screen or do you need a disc drive?
The profile picture fits perfectly.
If the PC is a potato in terms of performance, then the Series S native WQHD & 4K upscaling is absolutely worthwhile.
As already said: no
The differences to the Series X are well known.
If you don't care or you don't need them, it can be worthwhile for you.
If not then not.
Reason?
You take the words out of my mouth. These worthwhile questions are quite arduous
I heard the Xbox X is worth it if you have a TV with 4K and 120hz
I can't mod on this thing, i can't play indie titles, old games are rarely compatible, new versions are too often delayed, competitive gameplay is impossible with a controller, all online games without rank are by children between the ages of 10 -14 overcrowded, against x-box itself speaks also that there are no good exclusives this year
I can't mod on this thing
Isn't that right?
old games are rarely compatible
Have you ever read an article on NextGen?
competitive gameplay is impossible with a controller
Opinion, not a fact
all online games without rank are overcrowded with children between the ages of 10-14
And not on the PC?
against x-box itself speaks also that there are no good exclusives this year
Another opinion & not a fact
Spare us your regular table talk in the future & just scroll on.
I don't necessarily need a 4K TV with 60hz and a disc drive.
1that is correct
2 you don't get the subject of getting a dos game going
3This is a fact that is why there's no competitive gameplay on controllers when keyboard is possible and everyone is always crying about crossplay
4no
5 also a fact, but you can play that with bad taste
If you don't want to play in 4k resolution or 120 hearts then you don't care and the S is enough
First, you just seem to have no idea what you are talking about & second, you are setting your sensibility against facts.
Then refute something or show me how I can get my fallout4 or Doom or witcher mods on xbox, show me how I get the games running on the xbox, show me who is stupid enough with a controller in tournaments against keyboard and mouse to play how about if you stop thinking up things and write something like you're wrong even though it's right
Of course there's no real mod support on a console. Nevertheless it is possible to get mods to run on a console. So your statement is factually wrong.
Whether you can play better with a mouse & keyboard or with a controller is up to whoever operates it & is a matter of personal feeling.
So stop making a fool of yourself & hold the edge.
Ok, with a 4K TV, the Series X would make more sense, since the Series S is more suitable for 1440P (except for movies).
With a view to the future, however, it could be interesting in combination with the XCloud service, because then (assuming a good internet connection) it could also provide 4K output.
Despite the current 4,000 euro gaming PC, I made a conscious decision in favor of the Series S and against the Series S and the PS5, as I don't own a 4K TV yet and I'm super happy with it. It is also perfect for use on WQHD PC monitors and will later become my office console.
I want to get my mods to work read but that has nothing to do with support they don't let you manipulate the files
no that is because it is better that you can see that it is always set up in tournaments and controller idiots always get aimbots to help
you make yourself ridiculous with constant false statements and don't want to shut up and row back and forth
Take off your aluminum hat, my goodness. You are one of those people who put their personal preferences above everything else & just don't accept factual facts. Instead of spreading your nonsense here & giving the questioner a reasonable answer, you just posted rubbish.
Now you look again exactly what I wrote above. I can already see from your spelling alone that you are cognitively not ready for a factual discussion.
Just filth you wrote not brought an argument and fussed around and now you think I would not be ready, take as much time as you want, I asked you enough direct questions to which you still owe me an answer
show me how to get my eg fallout4 or doom or witcher mods on xbox, show me how to get the games running on the xbox, show me who is stupid enough to play with a controller in tournaments against keyboard and mouse
until you can do that, I'm no longer willing to teach you here for free
If you really just want to gamble, the next gen is definitely something nice and the 120fps will certainly be a world difference for people who have only played on 60 fps consoles up to now, but I would also tell you like the others here say the PC is easy what is what you need more and with which you can double the FPS with a little more money
