Xbox live Gold canceled correctly?

I recently canceled my Xbox Live Gold now I wanted to know if I did it right.

So 1 week ago I didn't cancel my subscription but clicked Deactivate recurring billing and therefore I wanted to ask whether my subscription would simply expire after this time until September 25th and would end automatically.

Because if I press cancel subscription now, subscription could not be billed. You have paid for your Xbox live gold and it ends automatically on September 25th

Incidentally, there's currently no recurring billing for the last charge on 08/25/20
