Xbox Live Gold Expired #Subscription Trap?

Today I got the Gamepass Ultimate for 3 months… But I changed my mind and canceled it or canceled the Gamepass Ultimate…

Before that I had Xbox Live Gold for 12 months, but now they are GONE!

I do not check it. I paid 60 euro (November 2020) and now it's gone (status = canceled). What shoud that? I canceled the Gamepass Ultimate and not my gold. And now everything is gone and who knows if I will get it again from Microsoft. What a subscription trap

When I switched from my Xbox Live Gold membership to GamePass Ultimate, the duration of my Gold membership (8+ months) was simply replaced by the Game Pass.

That's exactly what I remember. What was left of gold simply became a Game Pass and you could get it for a longer period of time.

All single running subscriptions such as Xbox Live Gold, Gamepass and EA Play can't run parallel to Ultimate per Xbox account, since Ultimate already includes the 3 subscriptions. With your purchase of Gamepass Ultimate, your remaining months of gold have been converted to Ultimate. So your ultimate would not expire in 3, but in 9 months. In addition, by converting from gold to ultimate, you get 6 months free game pass for console and PC as well as EA-Play.

Example: you buy 3 months of Xbox Live Gold and 3 months of console gamepass. If you get 1 month of Gamepass Ultimate now, the 2 previous ones will be converted. So you have 7 months of Ultimate, with which you get quasi 3 months of gold and 3 months of gamepass, 6 months of gamepass for PC and 6 months of EA-Paly, because the 3 months of gold and GP for consoles become ultimate.

Have you now completely canceled Ultimate? By canceling you have practically thrown away your converted gold subscription…
