Is 50 Hz enough for hobby gaming on the new consoles?
I would like to buy a new TV which has 43 inches and 4k. But unfortunately only 50hz native (2000 PQI)
Or do you prefer one with more hz?
You can achieve up to 120 FPS with it. Means you could get yourself a 144Hz monitor.
For the casual zovker who wants to play on 4K, a 50 Hz television is sufficient. Triple A titles in particular don't need a lot of fps to run smoothly. Sure you can say that the new consoles reach 120 fps on the screen and therefore buy a 144hz monitor, but such a television often costs 1000 euro and a monitor 300 euro, which not everyone can / would like to raise because they have it prefers to sit on the couch to relax a bit or to play locally with his family.
Get the Samsung 7 Series, really good TV.
