MAC Address Xbox One delete without concern?

My friend has Internet problems on his one and he wants to delete his MAC address times only the question is whether he then has to re-register with the Internet if that does? So you have to enter new password with Xbox One? Because he unfortunately has no access to the password: /

You can't delete your MAC address. It is firmly burned into the hardware.
