Hmm, there shouldn't be serious hardware errors at release either. And even if you wait, it will take many years for you to be sure that you won't get one of the first defective consoles. Bugs in the software are fixed right away. I don't think they'll be that much cheaper to release because the demand is really high. You could pre-order the PS5 and now you can buy it on eBay for a lot more money…
