I wanted to ask if you can connect an xbox controller to a Playstation (with a cable) and if you can connect a Playstation controller to an xbox (also with a cable) would be really good to know

That's true.
But "real" PC gamers, whatever that is supposed to be, don't laugh at the Xbox. Especially since they basically play on the same platform, Windows. Nobody is as tight as Xbox and Windows. You have to laugh about Sony and their bad consoles.
In principle, Playstation controllers would work on Xbox controllers if they supported the better wireless connection (Xbox 2.4Ghz network).
Xbox controllers do not work on Playstation consoles because Sony blocks the controllers. 😄 It's the same as with Windows, because Sony locks its own controller there to protect it from better competition

Both unnecessary. I bet you a lot of you don't use those two things at all. At least the gyroscope.
I only use the PC for Final Fantasy 14 (and when I finally get a PS5 or the Ff14 team comes to an agreement with Microsoft about an Xbox version), the PC will also be over
Consoles are much easier to use and connecting to 4K TV and sound systems is much easier
And my Series X doesn't really take much performance compared to my PC with RTX 2070 Super

I used the gyro sensor often you can control e.g. Flower with it (unfortunately this feature is missing in the later PC version of this game)
I also use Xbox pads on my PC
But as I said, it would be possible to use the pads on my Ps4 Pro
