As already mentioned above, I'm looking for an adapter because my "graphics card" (GTX 750) only has a VGA and a Mini HDMI output. My new screen MSI Optix MAG341CQ has 1x HDMI 1x DP and 1x DVI. Since I have a ps4, Xbox one s and PC, I need a new cable for at least 2 until I buy a new graphics card. The PS4 is expected to run on the HDMI port and the Xbox on HDMI-DVI cables. Now I just need a Mini HDMI to DP but find none. (Alternatively, it is also possible for the Xbox HDMI-DP and for the PC VGA-DVI. Since I only found adapters that can switch from DVI to VGA but not the other way around)
Thank you in advance for all the answers and for reading.
Buy an HDMI switch, the devices cost around 10-20 euro and you can use it to connect between 2 and 4 devices to an HDMI connection, some of the devices can be switched directly on the device, but some can also be operated by remote control.
Then take a mini HDMI → HDMI adapter and from there an adapter cable HDMI → Displayport

and
Yes, I have already considered that, but I do not know how much that fits into my "quality of life". That might solve the problem with the 2 HDMI consoles, but I still haven't found any Mini HDMI on DP or DVI let alone VGA on DVI or DP
Does that work without problems? And thank you, I had already had the train of thought.
Why shouldn't it
Mini HDMI to HDMI is a purely passive adapter in which only the different plugs are adapted.
only the HDMi / Displayport adapter is an active adapter with which a signal conversion takes place.
Therefore, it does not matter whether you first adapt from Mini to HDMI. The additional adapter would only be as if you were also using an angle adapter.
All right thanks for the info 👍🏻
Complemental description: You won't find an adapter from VGA → DVI-D like this. Because VGA is analog RGB signals and DVI-D is a digital connection. An active signal conversion would then also have to take place.
The path from VGA graphics card to digital monitor is somewhat unusual, usually there's almost always the opposite requirement because many people still have analog monitors.
