What would you recommend?
I know this pretty well… Just want to know your opinion
In my opinion it only has advantages over the consoles.
Except for the games that will only come out for the consoles.
With a PC you have so many opportunities to try new things and there are a lot of great open source programs such as B. Blender or davinci resolve. For pure gaming, a console like the upcoming ps5 or Xbox series X would be the better choice. If you already have a pc but still want a console, the Nintendo switch would be the better choice, thanks to the many exclusive games.
It depends on what you like to play.
The Xbox is pretty much unnecessary if you have a pc.
The switch is cool, but you could also emulate the games on the pc. In addition, the switch is mainly worthwhile for smaller indie titles or Nintendo games. The indie games are also available for the pc.
The ps 4 is cheap and the exclusive games are excellent, but you could also wait for the ps 5 and if it is really downward compatible, it is most worthwhile in combination with a pc and a switch.
For me, the most attractive thing about the switch is still its portability.
That's nice, too, but it still doesn't help if you don't enjoy the games. In addition, the games in the store are not exactly cheap. Almost all Nintendo games cost 60 euro +. There are almost never any discount campaigns for their games, which in turn makes it very unattractive for me.
Mario Odyssey (apparently) still costs as much as it did at the beginning…
In my opinion, the Switch is definitely worth the money with its exclusive titles and the "Switch" function. 👍
I really want to make excuses for you to tinker with the PC, because in most cases, in my experience, something doesn't always harmonize 100% as it should, especially when you want to get certain games or programs to run, that's always more likely disadvantageous (no matter how well you know your way around, don't do that 😅)
So… I already have 4 self-assembled PCs and often put them together for friends… Until now I have never had problems with them and everything is going great… I use 4 screens with wall mounting on 2 Titan RTX cards and have an Intel core i9 9980HK, which I overclocked have…
This combination is probably the most expensive and "most complex" I have… (since I use 4 screens as one big one, which is actually not possible with 2 GraKa's) …
Nevertheless everything works and I can actually open every game and program without difficulty… I had a lot more problems with some finished PCs
Simply because it is transportable, that's all I need to say.
