I have an Xbox that I usually run on my TV. Recently I also have a laptop, to which I have connected a second screen.
Can I connect my Xbox so that I can run it over the TV, but sometimes also over my 2nd screen from the laptop, without having to change much?
I would have now bought a HDMI splitter that sends the signal once to the TV and once to an adapter, which is connected to the 2nd screen. If I want to gamble on the second screen then I would just plug in the adapter and unplug the connection cable to the laptop.
Maybe jmd from the community knows an easier way.
Would be helpful that I can play at the desk on the Xbox.
Splinters are often not good (own experience with many different devices).
In short, the inventor of the plug does not want that.
The easiest way is if you also have a VGA or DVI input on your monitor (blue is VGA) Then you can simply change the input on the monitor or he makes it even if one of the devices is off.
Then you need an HDMI to DVI / VGA cable, the cost is not much, and the not very cheap.
Can also take an adapter
The Xbox One itself has an HDMI input. So you could connect your laptop to the One, make the one on the console, start the application "One-Guide" on the console, and, well, you've got the Lappy on the TV.
