Play FIFA on xbox but no game pass. Is ea play?

So folks, I got an Xbox One S and want to buy fifa 21. However, you need game pass something like online to be able to play it. So every 3 months you have to pay 30 euro to play fifa. But since a mpnat ea play is outside and I just want to play fifa on xbox no other game. So can I also buy EA play that is much cheaper and does it work? Because I don't understand yet what you can do with ea play. Is it and Game Pass only for ea games?

If you just want to play the game, you don't need the Gamepass or EA Play.

You just buy the game and you're done.
