Connect Xbox 360 with headphones (with adapter)?
And I actually wanted to connect my AirPods to my Xbox 360. Unfortunately, this is not possible with the Xbox 360, which is why I bought an adapter.

with this adapter came a fairly long cable which had 2 cable ends on one side (red and white) and these are now in the TV. Then the long cable was split again where the end ends with a USB stick. This USB stick is in the Xbox (I think because of the power supply.
So now I connected everything and thought I could put my Apple headphones with cable (3.5mm jack) in there and then hear the sound of the game. Unfortunately, that doesn't work… Do you happen to know why?
on the adapter itself there are 2 slots for 3.5mm jack plugs. (Microphone and headphones)

Your airport must be in the green connection. However, if you do not hear anything, I recommend another adapter, it is an adapter cable for headsets, if you have a PC with the same connections as the controller adapter that you bought. With the cable adapter you plug the two provided connections of the controller adapter, the jack plug of your Airpods into the adapter cable. Then it should work 100%. If it does not, it is probably due to the controller adapter, most adapters are only false, I hope that this will not apply to you.
