200k line but trzdm only 60ms in fortnite why?

The thing is, in Creative I'm normal yes 27ms so that can still play.

But in public I only have 40ms.

Am connected to a cable with a device which is connected via the stream with my Fritzbox. The cable to plug directly into the Wlan amplifier brings nothing. My question is now: How do I manage to get a 0 Ping in Fortnite, I have a 200K line with that should be possible.

And for the people who now say that a 40 ping is enough: No he does not, if you want to play competeted. Btw I play on an xbox. Provider is vodafone

Sh

What do you mean by "over power"? Powerline?

Try a LAN cable.

Which ping do you get when you open a command prompt and type in the command "ping google.de"?

We live in a universe in which the speed of light is the absolute maximum speed, even in fiber optic lines it is not reached.

For signals to overcome a distance, they need time.

Also, all the hardware between you and the server takes time to process.

The only ping so the latency that can be 0ms is "Ping localhost"

For short distances without much pipapo are ~ 20ms absolute top values

Bandwidth is not related to (high) latency.

It could be up to you at the routing or the (busy) Fortnite servers. Use the tracert command in a DOS window to get information about routing and response times.

All the other friends make the ping

This is such a devomo device, have my ma asked if it would not make sense to lan cable just in the wlan amplifier to put (in the main Fritzbox ichs and plug in which is where very different) she said only that would not bring more the devolo device which is connected via lan with my xbox, is connected via electricity to the main Fritzbox.

Had it tried dad lan cable in the wlan amplifier brings nothing

Is that synonymous to ner xbox? 😅

Jup is powerline

Take the ping test on the page here: https://www.wieistmeineip.de/ping/

And then repeat the test on your phone over Wi-Fi and place yourself next to the router, so that the phone has the best possible reception.

The best way to do the ping test again on a device that is connected via LAN cable directly to the router.

So you can tell if the ping is degraded by the Powerline or WLAN.

Okay thanks

So then: With my cell phone right next to the router, I create 42ms with the xbox powerline I make 30ms

Pt

After a short period of reflection, I can believe your words

A latency of 0 milliseconds is physically impossible

But what is conceivable is that the Xbox displays groats

Your displayed 40 milliseconds could be averaged values and that in between you actually have peaks that are significantly higher

This can explain your complaints and be generated by dLAN (the LAN stream history)

And what exactly should I do now?
