I wanted to connect my Xbox to my monitor today. Since ee is a bit older and doesn't have an HDMI connection, I have a cable that converts Hdmi to vga. I put this in the monitor but nothing happened. Does anyone know how I get to use the Xbox?
Had to get an active one
What do you mean by an active one, if you mean that it doesn't work it is wrong because it was on another monitor too
So with my ps3 I don't think so because hdmi digital and vga is an analog connection
There's such a thing as hdmi. You also have the connection. Same technique.
DVI. This is the same technology that HDMI adopted.
There are also cables that are an adapter.
DVI only transmits the picture. HDMI also the sound.
The sound is best transmitted to external loudspeakers via the sound card via an amplifier.
I happen to have a Herman Kardon amplifier. Plus 2 boxes from Magnat. A 1,000 euro.
Great sound. You can hear every height. Bass. I have to pay attention. You get quickly into trouble from the police if you sound the village.
But it can also be cheaper… Strangely enough, two-way boxing.

They produce a much clearer sound than cheap three way,
500 euro for both
Have fun with it.
