Sound problems with microphone?

Hi I've got the neewer nw 800 microphone with the neewer phantom food. Since I have an adapter with which I can connect to my controller headphones + microphone.

It works pretty well BUT no matter how close I'm to the micro / talking loud it's like I'm whispering.

Can someone tell me how I can fix the problem?

I have had the problem synonymous and I had the problem that the output of the controller is not made for it. On the PC it worked great but not on the controller. Just use headphones with a microphone for the console
