Are game controllers which are Microsoft verified as good as the original Xbox controller?

Until recently, the media market had sold the original Microsoft controller for the Xbox for around 30 euro. Since Corona is now it costs around 64 euro. I find that far too expensive.

Alternatively, they now offer a game controller on which Microsoft should be verified for the Xbox and PC.

Now my question if this Microsoft is verified / licensed, is it of the same quality as the original one and can I buy my conscience now or do I have to bite the bitter apple and now spend 64 euro?

No, it is not necessarily of the same quality. There's Microsoft verified, which means that you can play with it and the controller is designed for Microsoft

But the quality says nothing.
