Xbox one s offline play is not possible?

I bought an xbox one s and installed a game but I can't play it offline even though it is an offline game. Just want to play story mode.

It says every time you have to register with xbox live.

Can someone help?

You will probably need a connection, it is usually on the back of the case, dark green sign where xbox live is on it. Is for patches etc. Especially because far cry win is ubisoft game you usually need internet no matter whether single player or not, similar to diablo 3
