My question would be can I buy the normal Play and Charge Kit? Does that fit in? Because the Xbox series is sold out… Or does the One X not fit into the S controller?
The battery has the same size but you need the USB C cable to charge and possibly play on the PC if it doesn't have Bluetooth.

I put the 2017 Play and Charge kit in my series controller and it works without any problems. But what it looks like with the 2013 and 2015 Play and Charge kit (you can tell by the completely green packaging they were in, the 2017 and Series models have an almost completely white packaging with a lower green stripe) I don't know.
As a charging cable, I use one of the USB C charging cables on my Xperia cell phones.

Why do you want to buy the normal Play and Charge Kit please? Or. Do you mean that with the old connection? Because that is basically not compatible with the new controller. You need the new Play and Charge Kit because it contains a USB C cable
