I just wanted to play a round of "Pac-Man: Museum" on my PC, which I did last night without any problems. I have an Xbox controller that connects to the PC without problems and is also displayed as "connected". Now I open the game, but this does not respond to the controller. It can only be operated with the keyboard and the mouse, as if I had not connected a controller. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
Without knowing it:
You may need to switch to the menu in the controller.
Unfortunately that is not possible. There are no "options" in the classical sense. Only a small section with "How to play", where you can see how to play with the controller and how to play with the keyboard, but you can't select one. My also to remind me that actually both worked simultaneously.
Do not know the game, but does the game Controler support?
I wrote that it worked perfectly last night. It is not due to the settings. You can't choose if you want to play with the controller or keyboard, you can only show the controls for both. I think that usually both can be used at the same time.
Okay thought that it is generally possible and not with Controler. Does the Controler go public? Another game tested? Controler disconnected and reconnected?
Just "Sleeping Dogs" open. Works with the controller. Switched on and off and also restarted PC. The game continues to think that I want to use the keyboard, which did not make it last night.
Now have an Xbox 360 controller connected via USB… This works suddenly. He did not go for it last night.

Connection problem.
Clean contacts.
