I have pretty high quality speakers. Now my question is whether it is better if I e.g. The sound Take it directly from my Xbox or take the "detour" via the television. If I could take the sound out of the TV, I would not have the disadvantage that I have to constantly reconnect the audio cable if I e.g. Switching from Xbox to Switch, but I've heard that the sound quality drops significantly if you take the sound from the TV and not directly from the source.
Televisions generally do not have good sound, so you connect other devices with speakers.
Buy a switch, you can connect several at the same time and only have to flip one switch.
I myself have relatively high quality boxes or In my gaming / chill room a relatively high-quality setup And my recommendation with which I work well myself invest in a good to very good AV-Reveiver. With which you can control everything perfect for a 2/3 screen setup with a projector and 6.1 Dolby system You can then directly lay everything on the monitor or on the whole system and you can choose between several sources with a push of a button and the sound comes out well
Kp vlt helps you 😂🤷♂️
PS HDMI IS NOT THE SAME HDMI
I MEAN 1 euro WISH VS 30 euro PREMIUM
But that would be another adapter. I already have one from Toslink to Cinch (for Xbox) and one from AUX to Cinch (for Switch). Doesn't an additional adapter also result in poorer quality?
The differences from HDMI do not amount to how well or how badly it transmits data. The prices usually just include a certain amount of shielding against electromagnetic interference.
There are some for 4 or more devices. We have a foursome, I didn't notice that the sound quality changes.
But: the more shielding, the less interference / data loss?
Not necessarily. Usually only necessary if several nearby power lines run parallel to each other.
