So briefly to describe my situation:
I recently moved, I have a 50k line. My room is a little further away from the router. With me at the Xbox, around 17k come from 50k via wlan. Gambling is possible without a LAN cable, but it is very annoying. Now my idea, I've thought of placing a Wi-Fi amplifier in my room and then connecting the Wi-Fi amplifier to the Xbox using a LAN cable (ethernet cable) for better reception. How exactly does such a WLAN amplifier work? Could it be that you will have better reception but less overall? Instead of 17k then only 9k but better reception? Then the whole thing doesn't help me, does it? Or is it possible to get the 50k with the Wi-Fi amplifier or close by because a lan cable is used?
(Wouldn't like to lay a LAN cable through the whole apartment)
You connect a repeater via the ip in the network or via the wps button, the connection is definitely faster than via Wi-Fi, but it is still worse than via lan cable.
Buy a corresponding repeater for your router, which we connect with the push of a button, costs 10-100 euro and improves your Wi-Fi enormously.
What if I then connect the repeater to the xbox via LAN cable?
So an amplifier only amplifies the connection (range) of the WLAN router means: You should have better reception, but the speed will not be much faster.
