I and quite a few of you probably got your certificates today, but for me it was a pretty disappointing sight.
Not only because of the poor grades (average about 2.8), but because almost all teachers have told me that I'm really able to finish much better, and I have noticed it myself.
Every person who gets to know me anew is amazed when I tell them how "bad" I'm actually at school.
My performance curve has been going down steeply since grade 3 because I "got to know" my XBox 360 there (I had it long before, but only then did it get out of control).
Personally, I'm not at all enthusiastic about the "goal setting strategy" because I'm not so determined when it may sound so strange.
I just noticed that I do homework and so on with insufficient performance and automatically adapt to this behavior when learning on class assignments.
I would never voluntarily sit down at the work table and invest a 2 hour session on math etc.
Did you have such a problem If so, how did you more or less help yourself out? I would like to go home with a happy expression when I give my certificate.

Gamble very much and often, also had a relatively bad cut (8th grade, cut 3.1) and am really lazy and I was told by several teachers during the conversation that I could do anything if I were not so lazy.
Believe me, overcome yourself or let yourself be woken up by siblings or friends, sit down at the table and study for class work.
Most of the time it is not so difficult when you are already there.
I also spend a lot of time on other things and learn about 5 minutes a day. Still, my cut is very good. I do not need it because I work well in class and have a talent for such things (has been proven, should not sound conceited)
What class are you in now?
So I did as little as possible for school up to high school. Since then, interests have crystallized for me, which allowed me to build up a perspective. I'm sure there's one or two subjects that you enjoy. If you look into the future and think about how you want to make money later, you can combine that. It is the case that the Abitur or a similar qualification shapes part of your professional future. You also have to see it like this: What does gambling bring you for your later life? Sure, you have great experiences with your friends, but if you sit down and really think about what will help you. Do you already have a passion that you could combine with a school subject?

The ability to work hard and discipline is determined to a high degree by talent or by early childhood. That is why some have it terribly difficult or fail completely, while others only have to give themselves a slight jerk or can work like robots without internal resistance.
However, video games can affect behavior like drugs. Then it may help Only the cold (complete) withdrawal. Fortunately without physical withdrawal symptoms, like with drugs.
