Play Diablo 3 online on XBOX-ONE?

My question is whether you can play the game Diablo 3 online with random people on the XBOX-ONE. Had played locally for a while, but read somewhere that it was also possible to play online and also made the network settings in the game public and shortly afterwards a window pops up that says Tag above and something below that says Adventure Mode Bounty etc.

Does anyone know how this works or whether it works at all?
