Diablo 3 PS4 lan party?

Can you play Diablo 3 ros without ps + next to each other?

(He sits next to me and we want to play Diablo 3 and does that mean that you can play on 2 ps4 consoles without ps +?)

So on 2 consoles you can't play together without PS plus. But you can play together on a PS, you do not need PS + for that.
