I would first like to say that I have absolutely no idea about technology and therefore really need support for lay people.
My question: I want to connect my Nintendo Switch to my PC monitor. However, this has no HDMI connection, only Dvi and DP. With the switch, however, I only have one HDMI output and the associated cable. So I need an adapter or a cable, which I can connect to the monitor with an hdmi connection and a DP / Dvi connection to the monitor. Which adapters / cables can you recommend? And would you rather use the DP or Dvi connection?

You should buy an HDMI to DVI adapter. It should work with that
So would I then be able to plug the HDMI input into the output of the switch and the other end into my monitor?
