I have somehow the problem with me at the Nintendo Switch, that it always gets very hot and hotter than with friends. (in handheld mode) In addition, the ventilation is sometimes extremely loud and the switch starts to vibrate a busschen. Can you do anything against it? (vllt you can somehow ne new ventilation for buy and install, no idea)
In my case, the ventilation is also louder than normal after prolonged use. I do not have the vibration but she also likes to get hot. I assume that after prolonged use, the console likes to get hot through a lot of battery power and heat.
What you might do against:
- Provide enough cold air in the environment (in the car, this is not always guaranteed, for example)
- maybe just let cool for 5 min by switching off
For example, lowering the screen brightness and choosing a less "strong" game
What about installing a new fan:
Do not think that's such a good idea as the console may be harder to sell later when needed. Also I do not know how to install a good and functional fan in the console (which also works in the system for the TV)
Edit: Wanted to add later that the hot could also be due to dust that has come in the fan. In that case maybe try to open console and remove dust? Kp?
It just occurred to me that I had it in my handheld while playing and charging at the same time. It could be because the console is getting a bit hot due to the simultaneous charging and battery usage.
That is also possible. Perhaps due to the high energy consumption and the energy supply at the same time, the console could have been overloaded. I sometimes had that on my mobile. On Nintendo consoles, on the other hand, only the Wiiu and the Gamecube are sunning.
Which game?
Quite normal actually only Splatoon 2 and not too demanding performance games such as Zelda BOTW.
