Is Zelda breath of the wild worth it?

For many a strange question:

I'm thinking of getting a switch. In fact, my last Nintendo console was the N64 and my all-time favorite Zelda OoT. Play it regularly to this day.

I missed all (Nintendo) consoles + Zelda games from then until now and therefore have no idea of anything.

Does this Zelda game still have this great atmosphere and is it so much fun? In your opinion, is all the money worth it?

Well, I think it's a great game. On another console I would prefer an Assassin's Creed or Witcher.

It's just special and also really pretty cool, I think. But I've now explored all areas and somehow lost the motivation to keep playing. This is not the case with other games.

In addition, in my opinion, there are far too little populated places / larger cities that give the whole thing a little more life.

A friend of mine has been a Zelda fan since he was a child. He didn't like the game at all. It bothered him too much that the guns break after a few blows.

BOTW was my first Zelda game. It's one of my all-time favorite games.

It's set up very nicely - but for me it gets a bit monotonous after a while - I also lack the variability of equipment and skills

In the end, all you have to do is do the puzzles

But still a game that you can play nicely from time to time

Haha yes of course xD Was mentally with another game xD Sorry had 2 hard weeks. Yesterday I walked 10 minutes through the house and was looking for a mop bucket until it occurred to me that I didn't have it.

Not comparable to the old parts, something is definitely missing. But still super brilliant game.

I bought the Switch when it came out only because of Zelda.

As a Zelda lover, you should definitely have played it.

By the way, the dungeons are rather monotonous, and there are over 100 pieces. I don't think the developers were in the mood anymore.

The main dung, however, could be better in terms of design, but technically I think Rätzel is quite successful

I can only recommend BotW! It's my absolute favorite game on the switch! I have about 400 hours of play.
