Will play all teh legend of zelda games and already have wind waker, twilight princess and breath of the wild on my pc with the cemu emulator. Since ma there but not all other zelda emulate games I wanted to buy the new nintendo 2ds xl for 150 euro but do not know if it is worth it because almost no more games on the ds appear and I probably only use it for the zelda games I do not want it for the wii emulator. Is it worth it to buy the new 2ds xl just to play zelda. (otherwise play everything on the pc). Sonsst I would have to do again the effort and NEN to look for a good 3ds emultor
There's the Citra emulator for the 3Ds.
None of these two. I would recommend you a New Nintendo 3DS XL, which is much better than the New 2DS XL and the emulator too. The hardware of a 3DS is much more robust than that of the 2DS. The New Nintendo 2DS is obviously just a cheap copy of the Nintendo 3DS
In my opinion, the New Nintendo 2DS XL is totally unnecessary, since there's already the 3DS. You do not have to use the 3D function, that's hardly possible!
An emulator is also not a solution, because it simply breaks the flair of the game. It's also much easier to play on a console than on an emulator
Consoles were created to play video games, but PCs, laptops and smartphones are not
Conclusion: I would recommend you to buy a New 3DS XL, because I would not be satisfied with the New 2DS XL, because I've gotten used to my rugged New Nintendo 3DS XL
May I ask what you mean by "more robust hardware"? The 2DS was introduced after the 3DS because many people did not want to use the 3D feature; such people could just buy a "3DS without 3D", which is also cheaper. Running games on a 2DS really worse?
I do not know that "virtually no one" uses the 3D effect; not only is it nice to look at it, but it also helps a lot if you want to estimate its depth, for example in 2.5D games (eg Kirby) or top-down games with different platforms (eg Zelda: A Link between Worlds / Triforce Heroes) much easier.
And what is this "flair" that gets lost on the emulator? Sure, it's a bit different when playing with the original console, but there are more serious issues: I'm not in such good shape now, but it may well be that they are not (yet) running well and fluently, which can definitely hurt the feel of the game. Much more serious, however, I find that it is at least the 3DS is still quite current console and you should consider the downloading of these same new ROMs in my opinion as pirated copies.
Because the developers deserve to get paid. If every person downloaded the games for free somewhere, many studios would shut down. These people worked hard to create good games - only to be cheated out of their pay and not even able to play games anymore? If it were older games that are not that easy anymore, okay, but Wind Waker / Twilight Princess HD and Breath of the Wild should not be there. There are also plenty of games on the 3DS. Who knows, maybe there's much more that you might like than just Zelda?
If that does not bother you: You are here on the Internet. Do you really think that it is such a big effort to look for emulators?
